Clutter and the Public Sector
We work with the following public sector organisations:
- Local Government and their waste minimisation / recycling teams to promote the reduce, reuse and recycle message
- Housing Associations
Ways we work with local councils
We work with councils in a range of ways, including the following:
- Support regional ‘reduce, reuse, recycle the clutter’ campaigns through providing top tips for press, information sheets, articles etc.
- Supporting and running local trials to assess the level by which recycling rates can be increased by supporting householders to de-clutter (e.g. providing workshops, hands on help etc for specific streets, villages, volunteers etc).
- Working with the recycling teams to look at ways that they can give practical advice and help to householders interested in clearing their clutter.
- Training recycling teams about the issue of clutter and how it can be used to influence householders, recycling rates and waste minimisation.
