Whether it's hidden clutter that no one would know was there unless they opened a cupboard or went into another room, slightly visible clutter that's on the surfaces and floors, or clutter that is preventing you from entering rooms or even inviting people into your home, you need to know you're not alone.

Lucy had simply had enough. It didn't seem to matter how hard she tried, the kitchen just wouldn't get, much less stay, clutter free. There was nothing else for it but to go on the internet and search for help.	'Why can't I do this myself?' was Penny's first question to Clare when she called up seeking affordable help. I 'should' be able to do this on my own, but I just don't know where to start. I can't even face looking at it all.	Carol couldn't face ANOTHER year of de-cluttering all spring............and summer, and autum, and winter. Her de-cluttering had turned into an endless annual cycle of failure. 'I admit it' Carol said when she contacted Clare. 'I can't do this on my own.

She’d been a top tip subscriber for over a year and had, on repeated occasions, asked her husband to let her get Clare in to help her in her home – she couldn’t afford it without his financial help, and she didn’t want to just book help regardless and only for him to turn up and find Clare there and hit the roof.	The baby would be arriving in less than 3 months and the ‘nursery’ was still the junk room. Either the baby had to be delayed (!) or the junk room had to be de-cluttered. Her partner put down her sense of overwhelm and frustration to ‘the hormones’. Ruth planned to pay him back for those comments during the birth (!).	The clutter was growing before her very eyes and she felt she was drowning in her stuff. She called Clare at 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon in distress. ‘I took the day off work to de-clutter’ she told Clare ‘and it’s 3pm and I’ve done nothing’.

The trouble was that Judy was so busy that she didn’t spend as much time on her craft hobby as she would like and she was accumulating things for craft use quicker than she was using them.
