There are 3 stages to de-cluttering and getting organised
1. De-clutter to find out how much you need to store and organise
Clutter is overwhelming, uncomfortable, not nice to look at, shameful, depressing, frustrating - lots of descriptions and feelings are used by our top tips subscribers.
De-cluttering is the first step in becoming more organised.
If you have a mass of belongings that are all jumbled up, have no order and contain things that you don't need or want then we need to sort through your belongings first and make sure that we know what needs to be organised and stored in your home.
The only way we can create more space and get more organised is to sort through the things we have. There's no such thing as a tardis whereby we can magically create more space without having to let go of anything. I wish there were!
So we help people get started with sorting through their clutter so that they can start to feel back in control of it or, if they prefer, we help them completely de-clutter and re-organise their home in a way that works for them.
We help them in lots of ways - giving them a step by step process to follow on their own, help them get motivated, find a place to start, get started and stay motivated on the telephone, help them with the de-cluttering in their home by teaching them the process, being an extra pair of hands and distributing unwanted clutter for them so they don't have to do it all themselves.
2. Store and Organise what you decide to keep

Once you've cleared and sorted through the clutter, know how much 'stuff' you are going to keep, then we can organise it better so that we can make best use of the space you have.
Keeping the clutter under control in the long term is dependent on you making sure your belongings have a clearly defined home in your home, and that your clutter conveyor belt is working.
So, when we help people organise their home we make sure that we create something that will work FOR THEM AND THEIR LIFESTYLE as it's only then that you'll be able to maintain a clutter free and organised home in the long term.
We help in lots of ways - giving them a step by step process to follow on their own, talk them through options, ideas and top tips on the telephone or help them with the organising in their home.
3. Implement process and routines that will prevent the clutter returning

Once you've de-cluttered, stored and organised your clutter, you then need to make sure that the clutter doesn't come back again in the future.
Keeping the clutter under control is all about knowing where things belong, zoning your home according to how your home and live work, and having simple, quick and easy ways to review your belongings so that you don't accumulate the clutter again in the future.
