Worried about the cost of getting help with your De-Cluttering and Organising?
Don't worry.
We don't assume you've got endless resources to pay for one to one help in your home.
Many people incorrectly assume that the only help available for de-cluttering and organising their home is to pay for an expert to come to their home to do it for them.
That couldn't be further from the truth.
We offer a range of ways to help you get the help you need to succeed with your de-cluttering and organising - from doing it yourself to 3having one to one help with a Clutter Consultant - starting from just £50.
We NEVER recommend that people have help in their home to completely de-clutter all their clutter i.e. from where you are now to the last vase of flowers being put in place so it looks like the magazines.
Why?
- It would probably cost far too much (depending on how much clutter you have)
- It would only deal with the symptom of your clutter, rather than prevent the clutter returning again in the future
- Once you've found a place to start, gained confidence in HOW to clear your clutter using the process that we guarantee works if you follow it, you don't actually need more than 1 or 2 consecutive days of help in your home.
Yes we do go to people's homes to do the de-cluttering and organising with them in their home - but we also help a lot of people on the telephone with one-to-one telephone coaching (with clients in the UK, New Zealand, LA, New York....) and by providing them the step by step process we use in the DIY Kits and eBooks.
12 Things to Consider
If having some help in your home is a possibility you're considering but are concerned about the cost then here are 7 things to consider:
- If you were to work out how much all the 'things' in your clutter cost you when you bought them, how much roughly would that be?
- If you don't know how much things cost but you were to base it on £1 per item, how much money would that be approximately?
- How much have you spent in the last month buying things that you haven't used or appreciated since you bought them?
- If you were to consider how much of your time you've spent trying to de-clutter and organise your home since the clutter became an issue you wanted to address, and multiplied that by £5.93 per hour (UK National Minimum Wage), how much has your time cost you in trying to deal with the clutter?
If you have spent more than 72 hours or 9 full days trying to de-clutter and organise your home, you've actually spent the equivalent of the cost 2 days of help in your home and not got the results you want and need. It's even less for the equivalent of telephone coaching.
- If you were to consider how much more time you are likely to spend trying to de-clutter and organise your home, probably unsuccessfully, is it worth getting a head start on it, making real, visible tangible progress by the end of 2 days and get ongoing support, motivation and help for 6 weeks?
- How much is it worth to you in terms of time or money to be able to clear your clutter once and for all and not have it return again in the future? If you knew you wouldn't have to spend a penny more than £425 to start clearing your clutter and succeeding, and that you could clear and organise your whole house in 3 months time if you commit to doing 2 x 2 hours a week of Clutter Clearing following our process, would that be worth it?
- What are the benefits to you of clearing your clutter? How much is it worth to you to be able to actually get those benefits by the end of the year?
Although the client may have seen an improvement by the end of the help, the clutter has returned to the same level as it was before they had help within an average of 1 month. They have then come to us because they have realised the importance of learning to do it themselves, make the decisions themselves, decide what is best for their home with our help, take it slowly and make it a new habit. We have reassured them that they don't need someone to do it for them - they need someone to teach them how to do it, guide them through a process of how to do it, support them beyond the home visit and enable them to take control of their home.
Consequently, the money they have spent on our help has had a long term benefit in that they haven't had to pay for professional help ever again, whether it's one to one telephone coaching or one to one help in their home.
I wish we could afford to do the help in your home service for less than we do, but unfortunately with the cost of fuel, accommodation, overheads associated with running a business and time it's just not possible to do so.
