Clutter Clearing is the only place to offer you the opportunity to get this relevant, appropriate qualifications, experience and training from someone who not only overcame their own clutter challenge in 2001, they also identified the Clutter Clearing Process that has been successfully used by thousands of people who want to clear their clutter too over the past 9 years.

Why should you consider Clutter Clearing Training?
Clare Baker, founder of Clutter Clearing first offered the Clutter Coaching training in 2007. However, she became aware that some people misunderstood the skills, experience and knowledge required to be a competent Clutter Coach believing that being organised and clutter free themselves, or having a love of decluttering was sufficient to make them a suitable Clutter Coach.
In fact, being 'super organised' yourself and never having had any experience of clutter makes you least suitable to become a Clutter Coach.
As you may already know, Compulsive Hoarding is set to be recognised as a disorder when it is listed in the 2012 edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. As a consequence of the growing awareness of this, and as 2012 approaches, I am receiving weekly requests for my knowledge and 9 years full time experience of dealing with people who have this issue. These requests are as diverse as therapists who have clients with clutter, estate agents who have vendors with excessive clutter that is preventing a house sale, to TV production companies wanting to find out more for a new TV series.
This recognition will mark a significant shift in the world of decluttering and organising. It will highlight the need for specific skills and understanding for anyone who works with people who have a greater or lesser degree of hoarding. Without these skills and understanding, there is a serious risk of doing more harm than good - as is already being seen by those of us who have the skills and experience pick up the pieces from people who are not appropriately trained, skilled or experienced in this field. It is my personal hope that this recognition will lead to regulation of the industry which is desperately needed to ensure that the number of people with negative experiences of having had someone to 'help' them declutter their homes is significantly reduced.
As a full time professional who has worked with Clutterholics for the past 9 years on a full time basis, I am well placed to pass on my knowledge and experience to those who have a little - or a lot - of dealings with people who have clutter. This is why I run the Clutter Clearing Training.
