Clutter Competence Training and Awareness
|
Many people don't realise that dealing with clutter isn't simply about getting rid of things and being ruthless. When someone has clutter that is out of control, the physical clutter is merely a physical representation of other 'clutter' that is going on in their personal, emotional, professional or financial lives. For many, dealing with their visible physical clutter is the first step on a long, and often challenging journey that involves dealing with their past, their present and their future. Letting go creates fear, stress, depression, irrespective of the perceived value, use and need of an item. Breaking old hoarding habits can even cause panic attacks. The perception of many that Clearing Clutter can be done quickly and easily is false. It's neither as simple as a a clear-out or as straightforward as deciding what to keep and what not to keep. This course will enable you to understand some of the issues involved when dealing with people with clutter. ![]() Clare Baker
