I never realised a talk about clutter and de-cluttering could be so interesting! 




I was trying to find a guest speaker with a difference – we’ve had all the ‘usual’ topics and this seemed a little bit different.  I admit I didn’t know what to expect, but when I spoke to Clare she was really helpful in deciding what aspect to focus on.  I got a lot of compliments from the bosses after her talk and I’m afraid I took all the credit – sorry Clare!




Clare has an ability to speak in a way that anyone can understand – she doesn’t use complicated terminology but instead everyday situations that people can relate to. I heard several people squeak during her talk as they realised she’d just said something that was close to home!




Seeing the more cynical members of our team getting involved with the demonstration was fascinating. You could literally see their faces change as they suddenly ‘got it’ and understood who clutter matters.




I have to give a warning if you have Clare as a speaker – you’re liable to have staff who want to have permission to spend half a day clearing the clutter in their workspace! How does she manage to get them to do it when we’ve been trying to get them to clear the clutter for years?!
