Step 2: Introduction to Running Your Own Business

Many people mistakenly think that because they are good at what they do they can run their own business doing what they are good at. Many also believe that, with a good business plan, they will be able to get funding to set up their business. This could not be further from the truth.

Many people set up their own business and soon realise that there is a lot more to running your own business than providing a product or service for a given price.

Since the economic downturn, setting up your own business is even more of a challenge, and there are some specific skills that you will need if you are to start, survive, and grow your new business. If you've been in business for a while you'll also benefit from this course.

This course is the same as the Successful Running your Own Business Course that I ran Yat Oxford And Cherwell Valley College on a part time evening basis during 2009 and 2010 - until funding was cut.
