They’re perfect for when you simply need someone to help you get started, teach you 'how' to clear your clutter and answer to all your questions. They’re also ideal if you want help with your clutter but want to get help away from it.
We will help enable YOU to do your de-cluttering so that you're the one in control and making the decisions. After all, we’re sure you don’t want us making judgements on your belongings – if it was that easy we’d save you the trouble and book you a skip!
Your clutter is yours – your memories, your belongings, your useful belongings and therefore best cleared by you. We’ll help you decide what to keep and what to let go of, how to make that decision and what to do with what you choose to keep and what you choose to let go of.
When you have a 1-2-1 workshop at the home of a consultant you get all the benefits of the knowledge and experience of a Trained Clutter Consultant plus all the support that you would get with a 1-2-1 home consultation – the only difference is that you come to us to get help rather than us coming to you.

For the cost of a 1-2-1 workshop you will receive:

- A local information sheet relevant to where you live with details about local services, charities and organisations who can help you with your unwanted clutter
- A 15 minute weekly telephone consultation for 6 weeks after the home consultation to help you stay on track

- The option of having as little as an hours hands on help in your home in the future, or as much as 2 days at a time
- Ongoing local support from your nearest Clutter Cluster - a monthly get together of Clutter Clearing Members in your area who meet to share ideas, tips, get help from a consultant, listen to a speaker etc
What it involves:
We’ll go through the step by step process with you. We’ll help you get focused and motivated on what, why and how you’re going to clear, sort, store and control our clutter.
We'll ask you to bring a couple of bags of your clutter with you (a manageable amount) and we'll go through the process with that clutter. You'll get all the follow up support as you would with a home consultation
During the consultation we will help you:
- discover how the clutter accumulated
- deal with your specific challenges to clearing it
- teach you a step by step process to follow
- teach you the importance of rewards...
- help you devise a realistic plan
If there is someone else who would like a 1-2-1 workshop on the same day at the same time then we will ask you The Clutter Consultant will ensure you are confident and comfortable with the process and that you have a plan of what and when you are going to continue de-cluttering when you get home.
This is a great way of getting 1-2-1 practical help but in a cost effective way.
