Why Does Clutter Coaching Work So Well?
Put simply, because it involves doing the things you need to do in order to clear your clutter for good:
- making time on a weekly basis to clear the backlog of clutter
- organising your home in a way that will work for you
- doing things between the weekly sessions to put the habits in place to keep your home clutter free once the backlog is cleared
- learning about what works and what doesn't work for you in your home
- teaches you a life skill that we can apply to other things you want to achieve in your life
- makes you accountable on a weekly basis for doing your clutter clearing to ensure you overcome the procrastination you may have experienced in the past
- is practical support from someone who understands what it's like to have clutter that's out of control - practical support that others in your life may not be able to provide you with, especially if they've never had a clutter challenge.
- you're breaking old habits and routines that have prevented you succeeding in the past
- you're getting solutions to your challenges at the exact time you need them.
- I have the benefit of 10 years of experience of coaching people to clear their clutter which means I have examples that you can benefit from and apply to your own situation, if you feel they are relevant and appropriate.

- We take it one step at a time, at a pace that you determine so that you can adjust to less clutter and more space slowly, thereby ensuring it's a long term permanent solution (rather than a short term quick fix where the clutter returns).
- I can help you focus on the light at the end of the tunnel which, for most people with clutter, is not something they have when they begin their journey to a clutter free home
- I won't be pushing you to be ruthless or make decisions that you're not comfortable with or ready to make (remember: you're always in charge).
- I have a range of practical and specific skills that we can use when we need them - time management, maintaining focus, motivation, examples of previous clients, NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) techniques, moving home, downsizing, storage and more. You'll have access to them all when needed.
