I started by just doing the Social Gatherings. I would encourage anyone to do so if you can - it really helps you not to feel alone. Also I couldn't have done it without the help and support of the other people on the social gatherings.
I have felt inspired and motivated by others. They have been encouraging to me, because it makes me think that maybe I will be able to do it, too. I am feeling more and more like I am normal, which is a relief.
I know that joining the weekly Social Gatherings really helps especially when someone else says something that they are having a challenge with and I feel wow there are other people who are going through the same things as me. I am not just an odd person who cannot control the clutter and never will.
Having the weekly structure for 5 weeks at a time served as milestones on the way, and being able to share experiences with other people helped me to see that it doesn't matter where you are on your Journey, as long as you keep going.
