12 SIGNS YOU ARE RESILIENT

  1. You are able to adapt and adjust within a couple of weeks or a Clutter Clearing term of ‘life’ getting in the way while you’re on your Journey e.g. periods of ill health or health emergencies (your own or other people’s), bereavement, changes at work, natural disasters, pandemics (!) etc
  2. You are an optimist with a growth mindset, focusing on your successes and gratitude’s every day, prioritising your time to ensure you make regular and consistent progress on your Journey
  3. You believe that you can successfully clear your clutter simply by watching and following the next video on your Journey. This empowers you and enables you to build your confidence
  4. When life gets in the way or your meet a challenge, you break it down into small, manageable bitesize pieces in order to overcome the challenge and continue to move forward
  5. You get appropriate support and accountability in equal measure while you are on your Journey
  6. You have a clear vision of your Clutter Free Best Life goal and read your Best Life Script daily to help you prioritise your time to make sure you get just a little closer to it every day
  7. Physical, mental and emotional self-care is part of your weekly routine to ensure you have the energy and strength to face the bad days, tough weeks and challenging terms we all have on our Journey. Whether that’s doing some exercise, seeing a therapist, mindfulness, journaling, spending time in nature, or daydreaming, you practice self-care at least 3 times a week
  8. You know success takes time and effort. You don’t rush the Journey because you know  you need to allow the seeds of learning to settle, germinate and grow
  9. You set SMARTER Goals every term to help you break down the Journey into smaller, more manageable, bitesize goals
  10. You track your progress and recognise the shifts. You do your Wheel of Life at the end / beginning of every Clutter Clearing Term and compare and contrast it to the previous one              so you can see and acknowledge your progress, focus your time, energy and effort on the things that will make the biggest difference to you and your life for the 5 weeks of term, and celebrate the significant shifts and successes
  11. You know the value of understanding and supportive people, and you also know you need regular and appropriate accountability to make sure you ‘do the doing’ to make steady progress
  12. When you are overwhelmed and stuck you go into problem solving mode. You prioritise getting the help you need to move forward rather than just talking about being overwhelmed and stuck
